“The Consecration of the Arch Malach”

First Chapter
One

Protiel stood behind the other angels and watched the candles they were holding filled the room with light. Although they assembled behind the double-door that separated them from the main room of the temple, he clearly heard the hundred thousand trumpets roaring and filling the Sacred Temple of the Malachs.

Protiel, once was a musician in a small village of the angels located at the far end of the planet, was thrilled to hear the thundering beat of the drums from the room where the walls were decorated with transparent mirrors visibly overlooking the beautiful scenery of the place.
He remembered his early days when he trained to become an official angel, known to be as a “Citizen of Heaven”. Protiel was never been good in anything related to their training. However, he was popular to their School because of his talents in music. He was a bully to many, and to his teachers he was nobody. But to his friends, he was their hero, a true angel in heart. And because of his music, angels in blue could feel the bliss and start counting God’s blessings.

The four corners of the place were covered with hundred of thousand trumpeters dressed in white, blowing their golden trumpets to the tip of their breath. Their trumpets, made by hand by their great ancestors were making music composed by the angels.

Protiel knew it was a sacred day in the Planet of the Angels. A new Archangel shall be anointed and it would take place in that temple, which was named after the angels. He stood in the center of the world of the Malachs, the preferred word for angels by God, and prepared for the anointing. Protiel glanced at the open window at his rear and saw the great Mountain of Judgment at the south, which stopped hundred whirling typhoons trying to destroy the sacred temple everyday.

“Thank you, Great Mountain. You’re a big help in making me warmer than the past chilly minutes,” he whispered in his mind while feeling his knees trembling in excitement.

He raised his hands and saw them shaking while in its background he noticed the evergreen, vast forest in the middle of the mountain and the temple. He still wondered why those trees had grown above the thick clouds of round masses with break skies in between. As the ceremony was about to start, he felt the scorching heat from the Seven Suns above the temple, which separate the light from the darkness in the Planet of the Angels.

Protiel, playing with his eyeballs to scan the ceiling of the temple, remembered what he was told about it. The temple was build of enduring foundations and walls of never-rusting steels. It was the only structure that cannot be destroyed by any creation. God made that structure. God love that structure. The temple, which was in an oval form and took the design of a bowl, became the capital of the planet. All angels have witnessed in that ocean-wide place all the anointing of the past great archangels.

Protiel felt his heart beat faster as he reflected on the reason of the ceremony on that day. The four great archangels had retired and a new one should take their places: Michael, the angel of mercy, Gabriel, the bearer of God’s strength, Oriel, the angel of knowledge and Rafael, the angel of healing had done their part in accompanying and helping man, the creation whom God loved so much. And after Satan was defeated, a new archangel should reign to protect the Heaven. He would have a new task different from the other archangels who were basically messengers of God’s Will.

....to be continued.
